Internal Inferno

Internal Inferno

A Poem by Kitty

Lying here, I struggle to sleep.

I keep thinking of you;

All you’ve done;

All you’ve said;

All the pain you’ve caused;

All I see is you.

Stop haunting me!

Allow me to rest.

Please, give me some peace!

This anger I feel

Boils up inside.

I try to close my eyes

Against the sight of you,

But all I see inside

Is an inferno burning brighter,

Hotter and stronger

With each thought of you.

I’m burning inside,

Drowning in the flames –

All because of you!

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
