These Dreams

These Dreams

A Poem by Kitty

I hate the reality of Life,

These fantasies and fallacies

People choose to believe in.

Do they not understand

That these things cannot exist

In this world of pain and misery?

I prefer to live in my little world;

My land of dreams away from Life.

There is no sadness,

No false beliefs of Love and acceptance.

In my dreams I don’t live,

And there is no pain;

No reality to bite me in the a*s.

Oh, these dreams.

This beautiful world in which I live.

Waking up is not an option

And dying is all there is to do.

Yes, these dreams,

The ones in which I’m dying

Are the best I’ve ever had!

I guess there is nothing worse in this world than to have a broken or incomplete dream!
The ending is just perfect and so thoughtful, Very deep !

Dreams are very likable. Well..most of the time. It depends on the dream. haha. Sometimes it's so easy to forget reality when you're in them and be taken into a world of your own imagination. It's much more fun than facing the real world.
Very nice poem, keep up the great work,

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
