Thanks For Being There

Colin, thanks for what you do - you are amazing!

I know I take up

Way too much of your time,

But it’s really nice to have

Someone to talk to.

Someone who listens and (technically)

Isn’t allowed to judge,

Even though I know you do,

I can see it in your eyes

And hear it in your ‘protective parent’ lecture.

But you listen before you judge;

Listen before you lecture or give advice;

You listen.
