Pardon me

If, while you’re faking,

I still believe.

Pardon me

If I thought

I had meant something to you.

Pardon me

For wanting to be

Something a bit more.

 

Is it so hard to see

Just how I feel?

Is it so hard to see

The tears I’m crying?

Is it so hard to see

That piece by piece I’m dying?

Can it really be that hard?

 

Pardon me

For wanting to love you.

Pardon me

For wishing you could see…
