Yet I Stay

Yet I Stay

A Poem by Kitty

Didn’t you once say

I was the ideal girl for you?

Didn’t you say

I was special and that you’d be true?

Or did I get misread the signals?

Could I have gotten things so crossed?

Did I read the signs wrong?

How can I be so lost?

All I want is to mean something to you,

For you to care.

I wanted you to take me in your arms,

But instead you left me there.

What would it take

For you to see?

What would it take

For you to want me?

I wish I could learn

How to just walk away.

I wish I were stronger,

But yet here I stay,

Brewing in my misery,

My heart feeling blue.

Yet I stay

Still wanting you.

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
