Nothing Can Compare

Galloping steeds now

Race through my once dead heart.

Another day in

Heaven is where I now find myself;

Another day with you,

My sweet.

 

Surely nothing could compare to the

Hungering of lovers;

Indeed nothing could compare to

Romance between two yearning lovers,

Lost in each other’s embrace.

Every day becomes better, because

You have walked into my heart…

Nice. I liked the idea of making an poem out of someone's name. It was very well written. I think the problem usually with this sort of style of poetry is that people are limited to what they can write because they have to make it fight with the first letter. But you seemed to overcome this problem. It didn't feel forced at all. It was almost like you wrote the poem first and out of some weird chance it spelt out his name. Thank you for entering the 'Someone Special' contest.
