I can’t believe how wonderful

My life has become

Since you entered it.

I smile because I’m happy

Not because I’m hiding my pain.

I kiss because I’m in love

Not because I need comfort.

I eagerly await tomorrow

Whereas before I used to live in yesterday,

Dreading anything the future may hold.

All because you’re in my life…

I miss you!
