Where is everyone?

Can anyone hear me?

I’m drowning here.

Is there anyone who will help me?

Anyone who will listen

To my cries of anguish,

Cries of panic?

Where are you?

Why won’t you answer me?

Why won’t help me?

Why don’t you care?

Please, I beg of you,

Listen to my calls

Of utter fear and desperation,

Please,

Oh please,

Help me,

Before it’s too late.
