One Drop In The BucketA Poem by JourneyBluOne drop in a bucketful of rain I caught it in my hand as it fell from the sky I consumed it and let it seep from my eye But not before I had deciphered its truth And relished its history Perpetuated by the cycle of life Molecularly it is uninteresting In context though, it is divine Transcending its current state of being And who can say for sure that it is unaware? Is it not the fuel of further life? Already it has filtered through my secret places Unmarked and unremarkable How well it defies isolation In a world of its own I cannot define nor describe And though I have released it from the prison of my existence and entity It shall remain in both my past and my future Too clearly I recognize What it is to be one drop in the bucket © 2012 JourneyBluFeatured Review
