Justice

Justice

A Poem by Y.F.
"

Is it?

"

As you see her walk blind

with no cane at her side

don't dare speak, or the cat'll have your tongue

you can marvel and stare

as she's grasping for air

so logic, and yet so damn wrong

Her smell is so toxic

and you must be moronic

if under her spell you will fall

she'll go over your head

and then rip you to shreds

as the jury sings “justice for all”

The judge dressed in black

with a hump on his back

as your casket he builds with his hammer

with snakes on both sides

one attacks and one guides

as they’re leading you off to the slammer

As your this tale meets it’s end

one quick word, oh dear friend

stay away from the lady in white

in the world of the blind

nothing good will you find

just the dark chilling cold of the night

Justice is blind and sometimes deaf and dumb too.

"The judge dressed in black
with a hump on his back
as your casket he builds with his hammer
with snakes on both sides
one attacks and one guides
as they're leading you off to the slammer"

Loved that stanza. Nicely done!
