The Bird In You

I do enjoy to watch you fly,
so the entire world could see,
how high your spirit goes and why
I smile so much when you're with me.

I'd hate to see you somehow bound,
I'd kill your captives in my rage.
Can you explain how I have found
that I'm the one holding your cage?
