Cake

What's to say, it's cake :)

Lovely chocolate icing,
in sensuous swirls.

Covering velvety,
tantalizing heaven.

Smelling of that warm,
soulful chocolate.

Slightly warm
and still gooey.

Served up with
a cold crisp glass of milk.  

Mmmmmmm. :)

As I recall, back in the day, "cake" was code for LSD--although I don't remember it coming in chocolate. Actually, I don't remember much of anything of those times. Sorry about the nearly pointless digressive moment.
I'm thinking it's a good thing you finished up with a cold glass of milk--seems like you were getting almost amorous about a common baked good.
OK, I'll try to focus. I have never read a better poem about cake--and I mean that sincerely. (Not gonna state the obvious; not gonna.)
As a matter of fact, right now I'm receiving emails from chocolate cakes all over the country. Most of them contain just three words, "Thank you, Judy!"
