Tempted

Tempted

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

www.oneword.com but not done in the required one minute...

"
Tempted by warm words,
                  and warmer eyes.

Tempted by sweet caresses
                  and sweeter iies.

Tempted to stray from
                  the straight and narrow.

Tempted to fly away
                 like a sparrow.

Tempted to say what is
                  in the heart and mind

Tempted to play, hide
                 seek and hoping to find.

Always tempted,
                  so futile to resist...

How the hell did I miss this intriguing little number?
Aside from the fact that it's lyrical and just plain pretty, I find it quite stimulating that you are "always tempted" and find it "so futile to resist."
A hound's dream-girl.
But, of course, you're really just a sweetheart of a poet--with a bit of a naughty mind.
Impressive work, Judy.
