Oh beautiful you, I’m yours and you're mine

You sing in my soul the warmest refrain

and send my heartbeat much like drops of rain

dancing to your song again and again

and this tenderness, I find divine

 

And that is why love, I feel we are one

You’ve captured me now and I long to stay

mesmerized by you as the disarray

of storms of passion so deep within play

in loves harmony, untamed and undone

 

Oh beautiful you, what am I to do?

You’re only a dream, if the truth be told

and when I awake and raindrops turn cold

I wish for the night to stay and to hold

these visions so warm of beautiful you

The envelope form is metered poetry with stanzas of 5 lines and a rhyme pattern of abbba

Julie, I swera, your world must be filled with beautiful love, for your offerings always shower us with this wonderful affection. I love the format of this piece, though I was so lost in your words that I could not really see past the loveliness to find the rhyme scheme until I read your author's note. Once I went back and read it again, it became even more beautiful. Very nicely done.

This was a floating cloud of imagination where the heart is free to fly. It was like a place of rejuvenation and giving oneself the right of choosing to imagine. Our imagination is where we can pick what we want. Life is not like that so much of the time. Your romantic poem was inspiring for sure!

Untamed and undone .. kinda says it all .. .. wow

I guess some have this kind of relationship ..
