~ a love poem ~

As soft
as a snowflake
twirls through the sky
falling with the whisper
of a lullaby


As light
as the white clouds
angels dance upon
with a sprinkle of dew
to paint a new dawn


As sweet
as a rosebud
will bloom in the spring
scented with sunshine
as butterflies wing


As bright
as a rainbow
so tenderly laced
with warm golden ribbons
in heavens embrace


As strong
as the tether
that tenderly ties
beauty touching beauty
I look in her eyes…

 

 

As pure

as the poetry

I had only dreamt of

etched in my heart gently

forever, she’s love

I have four sons, and one daughter,
A daughter is something special,
But the love we feel for all of our children is what poetry is made of.
