My dreamy pen dances through meadows

on a graceful breeze of sunbeams and pastel daydreams

forgiving the clouds,

            tickling the rainbows

                       teasing the flowers,

            scattering sweet petals

    like butterflies fluttering

with romance on their wings..

 

I am a song,

               I am sonnet

composed with the joy of a summer day

because

               you love me

the pen you speak of had me dancing and dreaming the dream of love. The clouds will always part and the sun always shine with the simplicity of a rainbow and the sweet scent of loves flowers caressing our every move as we embrace the one word that holds so much meaning....LOVE....

This piece simply flowed like water and from the first few words the i was in this dream dancing along with hope that I will one day find this love.

i was hooked from the first line and my mind went on a short trance envisioning all the imagery that stirs in this poem. A great write. I loved how the last line brought everything together.
