It’s always been you…

 

rising with the dawn

cascading bright ribbons of light

                       warmly

                               around my heart

 

never paling with the moon

 

yet

leaving me longing for your kisses in the night

where dreams of you are a serenade,

                      a nightingales song,

           beautiful and wild

and love is carved in hearts with roses…

you have picked the sweetest bouquet bound with my heartstrings

                                     in this land of fantasy

 

yes,

           it’s always been you,

 

                                         let it be me

Such beautiful longing in this, it left me feeling a little sad. I don't know it may just be me. I feel the love, the passion, but it is as if it is unsure, searching, questioning if the other feels the same. I do know one thing maam--you always make me FEEL something when I read your works, and that to me is the sign of a great writer:)
