Raindrop tears from heaven fall

sunlit wishes gently stall

under shadowed clouds of gray

let me hold your hand today

 

I’ll be your shelter from the storm

my umbrella’s safe and warm

and as these tears softly fall

catch one,

               catch two,

                                catch them all

 

and when the storm has passed us by

we’ll paint rainbows

                                   …you and I
