~ a romantic little scribble ~

Shades of blue in endless skies

               crystal clear his lovely eyes…

 

 

Soft pastels surrounding me

         with each gaze, tenderly

                  I’m embraced with his love

                         infinite...like skies above

 

Cloudless heavens gently dance

                     in the beauty of each glance...

 

Shades of blue, in reverie

           I rise then I’m falling free

                                      soft as a breath upon a breeze

                         of whispers, wrapped in the tease

                                     of silken sheets in disarray

 

                     Lingering in his love I’ll stay

                   captured by his lovely eyes

I definitely think blue is the color that captivates many of us. A blue sky is so mesmerizing & blue eyes always capture my attention. I've had this experience, where the blue color of someone's eyes just send me into a reverie. You've revealed many sweet, gentle observations of what blue does to you.

as usual, very romantic...had me singing an old tune from The Shades of Blue---"Oh how happy you have made me, oh how happy you have made me"
was a great oldie from the sixties.

the shade of blue in the eyes or in the sky...a pleasant blue...not the "singing the blues" kind of blue.

by the way, blue is my favorite color, always has been.

There's just something special & tranquil about the color blue. A lover with those type of eye's can really cast a rare spell of romanticism on their partner and thats a type of love no one would want to see end. A lovely poem Julie. Your exquisite words wrap themselves around me like the light wings taking me to other realm of cotton clouds floating with no- one present there except you and him.The loving gaze of his mixed with burning desire is the most precious thing in the world.
