Quiet Whispers

Quiet Whispers

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a collaboration with Trace ~

"

Gently intertwined

vines tremble

as the wind quietly whispers

with the scent of roses

Beauty fills my heart

and words interlace

rising in a delicate mist

                         of the sweetest inspiration….

Gather me in your embrace

so you can see inside my soul

my reflection…

with mere words

A melody….

      your melody

etched upon my heart

lingering in a lullaby for two

The sweetest rhapsody

like a pairing of birds

winging to heaven

           as the world pauses...

  Lend me your lips

so I may taste your magic

mysterious and silky

          like showers of dewdrops

wet

as a falling tear

As soft as the beauty

that fills my heart

with quiet whispers

          and the scent of roses

…blooming only for you

As soft as velvet, your words wrapped round my heart. Julie, this is just so beautifully romantic!

And yes, worthy of at least one heavy sigh! You write romance like no one else can. Lydi**

A beautiful collaboration without the ham-fisted kind of sensuality that seems to be the common oeuvre these days

You're welcome.
Beautifully done you two. Love...if love had parents I would think they would be you and Trace. I loved this poem today. Have I said love enough times?
