You wake me from my dreams as I glide

in shadows of the moon where I hide

I feel you reach for me, your embrace

lifts me to another time and place

 

Where you can feel my warmth, soft yet bold

as painted brilliance sweeps and unfolds

scenes created in light just for you

glistening in the pearls of morning dew

 

Weaving silken ribbons beauty flies

feel my touch, take my kiss as I rise

We are free, we are one, we are art

intertwined with each beat of my heart

 

Every breath taken, love, we will share

the beauty that is you I compare

to the sky shining bright, in your hold

I am dawn, the sunrise...I am gold

This one was quite magical.. it combined imagery and emotion..sensations... freeing the spirit and allowing it to get lost in the warming light of love.. shining gold like the treasure that it is.. I love it when an author can make me forget I am reading and transport me into another dimension, or state of awareness... you have done that exquisitely here Julie.. for one breathtaking moment, I felt the beat of your heart and it was stunning..
