Lost in My WildnessA Poem by MsJewel
I loosen my hair, setting it free, and just like that… I’m
free to catch the warm whisper of the wind Free as the rustling leaves up above stirring the birds, sweetly…the sound Lost in my wildness, like a stream of fresh water nourishing an ever-increasing thirst for all of life’s vigor But it goes deeper than that I’m not fighting against time but longing for a life to flow clean, with passion like
poetry Hungering to live among the wanders, the travelers, the
poets Surrendering everything to create a life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in
my imagination Call me a tramp, or a
gypsy But I’m not looking for anything nor
am I aimless My aims are just different than most Lost in my wildness My lover is calling, but I’m not answering © 2024 MsJewelAuthor's Note
