Let it Snow

Let it Snow

A Poem by MsJewel

~~~
As stars that shine on winter nights
are to the moon's beauty
when snowflakes whisper in the wind
so was his love to me
And still he shines deep in my heart
and whispers in the glow
of winter nights and pale moons
Please love…let it snow
'And still he shines deep in my heart
and whispers in the glow'
of winter nights and pale moons
'Please love…let it snow '
When all is seemingly gone, finished, over: when everything has faded into nothing, this is must surely feel but feed the heart and spirit. Whatever- may the snow prove the warmth of your love.
Stanzas perfectly laid, emotions public but preciously yours. Image a perfect addition.
A very beautiful poem that shines of love and affection.
The choice of winter imagery suggests a great sense of calm and reflection.
Snowflakes are described as whispering in the wind, giving them a gentle and soft quality that enhances your poem's romantic tone.
Thanks for sharing such a lovely piece.
Your words drift slowly down the page as snowflakes drift from the sky above, in this very beautifully penned poem which speaks to me of past love. Beautiful winter depiction! Thank you for sharing, Julie...
a deep love and a longing are heard in those snow whispers. What a wonderful way to express his gentle touch on your heart making it "glow".
