I know it's not that good, I'm working on stringing together the right words...time shall tell 😅

As I stare into the chasm of your heart
All that surrounds me becomes clear
As I see one with so much love and joy
Succumb to a mind full of fear
I know you try to be strong
Pretend like your emotions aren't real
But the more you fight, you struggle, you claw
Just shows that you can really feel
I just wish that our souls could entwine
Our paths cross like rivers to the sea
But as we push threw this war zone
The one we call life
I know in my heart to set you free
