Your the lightning in my mind.

You left your breath on my lips.

Letting my heart know your always with me.

I take blows to my heart, several takes.

Two daggers to my chest.

An arrow to my back.

A razor blade to my long hair.

Ahhh, the bitter aftertaste of love. It is in these moments when we want to punch Tennyson in the face for writing "Tis better to have loved and lost..."
