One Night

She hoped

Maybe prayed

Even Wished

Often dreamed

 

She didn’t think

Never seemed plausible

Wasn’t realistic

That it could happen

 

She felt lonely

Treated poorly

Thought low of herself

But she was beautiful

 

But one person

Changed it all for her

In one day

And she couldn’t go back

 

One night became magic

One night became love

One night became heaven

One night changed it all

 

For he didn’t see

He didn’t know

He couldn’t understand

He didn’t realize

 

That night changed her world

Made her become happier

Made her realize somethings

Made her hope
