Backward or forward?

It’s easy to go back,

Easy to give up,

Easy to give in,

Sometimes easy to go back.

 

Worth moving forward,

Worth trying,

Worth walking straight

Worth remembering the past.

 

What doesn’t kill you makes you,

Stronger,

Wiser,

Smarter.

 

What hits home,

Can break you,

Can hurt you,

Can destroy you.

 

 

 

Or can

Build you,

Make you,

Guide you.

 

Give up?

End it?

Or,

Keep fighting!

Keep trying!

Not bad, but I feel like you use the technique of just using one word in a line a bit too much, and it really cheapens the effect. I'd consider condensing the majority of this poem into well-defined lines and keeping that one-word method for when you really want to make a point.
