Roses & Violets

Roses & Violets

A Poem by Jordan Varner

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
This poem's cliche
And so are you.

This town is so small,
The drama's too large,
Everyone's talking
'Bout things they don't know.

People are blank,
Canvases; blank.
We collapse and we bleed;
We fight and we defeat.

So maybe violets are red,
And roses are blue.
As i write this,
I'm thinking of you.

Hello! When you mentioned the word cliche, I chuckled. That was really good! Overall your poem is so witty. I love reading it over and over again! Haha! Well, that's all :)
