Something Happened

just popped in my head.

Where is the silver lining?
   i dont see anything shining.
What happened to I'm your princess?
   i dont see why we cant be us.
When did everything go so wrong?
   i dont hear life's ending gong.
Why is it, only she can make you smile?
   i dont even get close, not even a mile.

Something has happened,
   there was no way to stop it.
Something went wrong,
   there is no way to mend it.
Something is missing,
   there is only one place for it.
Something has gone astray,
   i hope we can catch it.
