Birthday morning

Today the sun rose just for you,
Reflecting off the morning dew,
What is it that you want today,
this is the day you have it your way.

June 25th is the day you were born,
When you were young and so forlorn,
Not everything was fun and new,
so your parents took good care of you.

Now look in the mirrior wat do you see?
A young girl filled with energy,
Now so happy and free,
The fact that it's her birthday is enough for me.
