When I DieA Poem by KLGreen
Line my coffin
with Egyptian cotton. Lay a tulip on my cold dead lip. Send me off to Fur Elise then honor my life with a feast. No clamoring no tears, no bargaining no fears. Just a simple smile I'll remember all the while. As you lay me down into this blessed ground. A simple dirge you hum will guide me to the world to come. © 2015 KLGreen |
