Numb

I can't feel the sleep
The sleep I should be feeling
My thoughts erase all sensation
The racing
The ever present
The forefront
The demanding
Thoughts
They block out all sense
Of time and space
All sense of stimuli
In my extremities
I know tomorrow
My lids will be heavy
My knees weak from walking
But right now
I'm numb
