Greed

Greed

A Poem by Krystal Thomas

My thoughts are growing too deep,

I’m starting to feel shallow on the surface.

And my mind is tuned in with every wavelength in my path,

I could find God in the frequency her breath.

But too much of anything,

Is too much of a bad thing.

And too much of her has got to be the exception.

Because having her in healthy dosages is having her for a lifetime,

And then dancing with her bodiless energy in the petals of a sunflower.

Finitely infinite.

And infinitely mine.
