a tribute to a wonderful place to go...

"Writers Café"

I was feeling blue today, until my head did split

nothing would cheer me up not even for a bit

But then I went on writers café wrote some depressing stuff

Didn't really help at all, I thought enoughs enough

But then I took the time to read some other writing

the talent and the quality did make my heart enlighten

I whiled away the hours leaving some reviews

making friends who read mine and shared world news

The beauty of this great café it takes my mind away

from pointless negative thoughts that my head will display

Its truly great to read new stories, poems and song

I could just stay on this site all day long

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to write

It's a wonderful escape and makes me feel alright

When I read that others might be struggling too

We're all in this together, a proper writers stew

It is a great way to while away some time. This is my favourite time to visit, cup of coffee, telly, barely audible in the backgrounds, pooch at my feet, family in bed. Heaven, love Sunday's, even if my head is pounding slightly, to much JD Enjoyed your poem KTB.

Even the layout of your poem reminds me of a jar of meaning. Meaning is found in all people and to have access to people of this globe we live is pretty wonderful. Your poem is strung with commonality and a sense of unity. I feel the same!
