Take No Hold

Take No Hold

A Poem by KWP

cast out to the rough seas in the everywhen

our love story only ever fleeting,

zenith in the tempest storm,

rallying and riling holds no key,

all that comes together, falls apart,

stormy weather cleanses hearts,

leaves one gasping for sweet more

the weather does pass,

the new breeze manipulates a soft touch

catches hold,

tickling in presence,

alas a moment,

fleeting splash, erupting forth from

rapids of eternity -

rough waters pass,

nothing ever lasts

tilt your head, watch the stars

inhale the allness of the everywhen,

it’s you,

it’s all you,

oh yes, I’m in there too

open your heart so wide

nothing can ever take hold

in your crevasse of all encompassing

cold winds chill,

the breath, love and life, warms

transient in exhale,

never catching a snag,

it’s you,

it’s all of you

nectars drip, satiate every sense,

belonging,

in an overflowing cup of abundance,

drop the fear,

take it,

it was always yours to grasp

it’s the essence of you

take it, understand it,

let it go

you - - -

so many beautiful moments I almost don't know where to start. Just a lovely poem from beginning to end.

Very delicate wording... really beautiful write.
"the new breeze manipulates a soft touch
catches hold,
tickling in presence,"
I love those lines... the imagery you create in each stanza is perfect. Enjoyed reading your work :)

Where to start...for an old fart (me), sometimes it takes me a couple of read thru's to grasp the full significance of the write. Multiverse is a new concept to me, one who has written innumerable poems over the years fettered to the comfort of rhythm, rhyme and ordered syncopation. Nonetheless, I strive to experience more... I thought the poem was beautiful in it's own right, ripe with emotion reaching out to embrace a universe of love that is perfect yet still peppered with the imperfect flaws of the human condition. Yet eternal, optimistic hope cannot be stifled or bridled when the heart knows that anything is possible! Always good to see/read you again. Oh BTW, just took a shot at one of these multiverse thingies myself...check it out when you get a chance, loved to hear your feedback KWP.

thanks you .... you do know that the aim is to become unfettered right? :D X
.. 'tilt your head, watch the stars - inhale the allness of the everywhen, - it’s you, it’s all you, -
oh yes, I’m in there too .. '

Such beautiful truth.. absolutely and undeniably! I've read so many of your poems, for me this is the finest because it holds truth absolute. Has more - a genuine, uncliche'd moral wrapped somehow by gentle yet vibrant inspiration.. Sigh, beautiful.

Smiling here to there. Welcome home from the multiverse, hope you've unpacked your commas!
makes me think of the words of Jesus when He said something like if we find our lives we loose them if we loose them for My (His) sake we will find them ... but your words are much more poetic ;) not an easy taste to draw readers into the "everywhen" ... for me ... "Take No Hold" gives me a marvelous place to greet my day ... God bless my friend!

Love has to be stronger than an eventual storm. Afterward it's sometimes even better, when the sky is clear again. Love it, KWP. Well done. :) Rudi
