Anchored mind is a great description and I love the way you use this throughout to convey your thoughts in this piece. Great imagery woven from the first line to the last.
Subtly is a funny thing. Relativity rules us completely ... in empty space, movement is impossible to gauge. In empty space if one is floating static and the other is moving past very quickly... neither would be able to tell who is moving or who is static, both will appear to be in motion to the other. Nothing is intuitive without a reference. To find equanimity you must have resistance to measure (the gravity of celestial bodies helps in reality, down here... morality does something similar; I think, I really can't be sure... abstract thoughts jar my natural instruments and I'm not that great with physics). In short... nothing is what you get when you let things be absolutely.

That's the reality we are caught up in. The here the now. I love your last line / statement ... I think I have said this before, but I will say it again, you see things as they are (what Vipassna aims for) and not many do ... nice ... X

"don't you think that... as we enter the world we all have all the resistance we need?" I think that.. read more"don't you think that... as we enter the world we all have all the resistance we need?" I think that is a borderline absurd statement that ignores some pretty fucked up s**t happening every day around the world to every age bracket. Children are generally happier than adults precisely because we are not born with anything other than the biological resistance of birth. Life weighs heavier with each passing day, until you die anyway... then, I hope, it gets much much lighter

:-) well that's exactly what I was pertaining to ... yup
Tis said every day is a miracle, each tone of it creating a million dreams. Seems you've taken that quote or similar and created a nudge of awareness that Nature has its own way - Man is mere part of it. Perhaps? As always, fine, fine poetry.

Because change is often subtle--gradual--not only does it frequently escape our immediate attention, but when it does finally and completely come starkly into focus, that realization can be unsettling.
"Shipwrecked," of course, says this--and more--impressively.
High-level work, K!
