Stillness

Stillness

A Poem by KWP

Daffodils dance just to dance

in the breeze on

a sun kissed spring day

- so too can be an unfettered mind.

The universe kisses in

breath strokes of breeze.

Warmth comforts

massaging sun rays

into layers of you

dissolving into

empty space

it’s all around

filling the gaps of stillness

(no charge).

Infinite skies

request only that we fall into them

and be.

This reminds me of when I was younger. My cousin and I at my grandparents would walk up the holler and in to the woods. There was a small clearing. We would lay on the grass and just look up in to the clouds and the everything was just so relaxing. The breeze just seemed so much soothing at the time. I really liked the poem. Good job.
