Ive been counting the stars on the skyline
Waiting for my day to come
A day that I'm all you need
A day where I have a home

I once wrote a lullaby
That soothed me to sleep
Now there's no impact
On my empty soul

I'm waiting for my day
My worries whisked away
We all have a war with ourselves
That's what makes us human
