Knight

A poem about how I feel overlooked and taken for granted recently

I am kind
I care too much
I help others
I keep them safe
I am a knight
In shining armour

Perhaps if I hide my face
Behind that silvery countenance
People will see my shine
And respect me for my effort
Or I can pretend that im not human
Like everyone else

I live to please
I solve problems
I rescue maidens
Not to recieve but
Because it is right
Because i am a knight
