Where Thoughts End and Dreams Begin

Eyes shut

Breath steady as the white noise inside my head

Fingers cold

Grasping tightly at the side of my bed

Worries snatched by imagination's surreal embrace

Foggy apathetic comfort and a falling rush through space

Unconscious creatures pull me in

To where thoughts end and dreams begin.
