A Poem by Kain Smith
"

A set of haiku about emotions.

"
Happiness is not
A commonly seen houseguest.
Although it should be.

Gratitude is not
An often felt emotion.
Why couldn't it be?

Fear is unwelcome,
Yet often it comes to me.
Why will it not leave?

Sadness passes through.
No longer lingering here.
I wave farewell, too.
