White Wings

White Wings

A Poem by Kaitlyn Raiford

No matter where you are,
No matter what you do.

Anywhere you go,
I will follow you.

My heart is but a promise-
A promise made to you.

As long as you are with me-
I can never lose.

Eyes filled with hope-
Let me show you what it's like.

I can walk you through the dark side.
I can guide you through the night.

But you have to take my hand.
Accept me for who I am.

Do me that small favor.
And I can show you...

The light of a love.
So endless,
So bright that you can't see.

And the touch of a mother.
So gentle,
You'll never want to leave.

Just let me.
Please let me.
I can show you these things.

I know that I can...
Just come home.
My baby with white wings.

Final view of what I don't know, but you said it so beautifully it must be love. The design work on the words is interesting too.Thank you for sharing.
