Tomorrow

3rd poem in my little series, cant quite get today ready

Tomorrow is a place that doesn’t exist

 

A place full of rainbows

Where unicorns frolic

The sky never cries

And you will never grow old

 

A place empty of humans

Where rivers flow with chocolate

The flowers bloom jelly beans

And the air is full of butterflies

 

A place free from sadness

Where hearts grow

The grass is lush green

And trees grow at the speed of light

 

A place where things get done

Where heaven exists

The animals talk

And innocence runs wild

Good job on this one! This reminded me of Candy Land, alos Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory XD I can't say I'd want to live there, but it sounds like a cool place.

I would love to reside in a place like that. It sounds so heavenly and balanced with nature and animals. And seems so very high tech too! Hehe! Magical!

This is a great poem! And it makes you think, too. We always say "Oh, this'll get done tomorrow" and it does seem like a far-off land filled with unfinished homework assignments and housework that will never get done! Great job!
