Jar of happy

Jar of happy

A Poem by Kally
"

We all just have to keep jars of happy, is yours filled, are you fully living life? Let that be a goal. I choose work over play, and I don't regret it, but at some time, the work has to end to rest.

"
This is the condition; you have to face when you felt the lowest, the worst. That's it, you look in your jar of happy and that's just it, you didn't have enough good times to enjoy them in the present. You have to keep working towards them but the more you work towards them the less happy and worse feeling you are. So they call you crazy, but you can't help there's nothing in 'your bucket'. And sometimes the world comes down to a bucket.

So you, yeah, no one knows what you're going through, no one knows where your bucket's been. We can't tell you everything is alright and relax.

Author's Note

Kally
We have to decide who we are, our egos, but at some point we will come to rest. I have things to accomplish, even if I prepare my rest state in the future. Build my homestead, I call it.

"Bucket" referencing How Full Is Your Bucket by Tom Rath, Mary Reckmeyer, and Maurie J. Manning.
