Revolutionary Poems: The only reason I let it beA Poem by KallyNow, I've told you loneliness is from love, and when I found that diamond, I was embraced by warmth. When I found how powerful we all are. Now I tell you, love is about the moment, not the ends.
The Only Reason I Let it Be
Don’t you, get it! It’s pure nature beating in my chest-- I will never fall in Love For my heart’s already at rest. It doesn’t matter the ends, but the now It matters in a sentiment sort of way Like a mother to her child Like Starry Nights depiction of oceans and the sky, The things that make us cry The grainy sand beneath our feet As our hearts beat; hoping it will be okay -- The sweat going down our brawl of ocean sublime, Sea water; seaweed; fish scale mist -- But a million feet upon my tongue of a mill- -ion rocks crushed -- journeying across the cavernous Mounts -- upon my tongue, Land! I taste the Earth -- the ocean And the stars sing me a Lullaby, The moon churns the ocean blanket upon my bed-shore, And my feet are tucked in human skin -- the sand I’m of -- and a million ancestors As the night bids me dreams… The moment, now, is all that matters -- because I have moonlight -- shining in my eye. I come to the Earth as to a child -- Beckoned. Her pearly innocence pleases me And in the last, fire-y condemned moments I bid her skin, her gentle palm, a plea © 2025 KallyAuthor's Note
