Revolutionary Poems: The Sphere I Live On

Revolutionary Poems: The Sphere I Live On

A Poem by Kally
"

I love you and I'm a stranger. I was lonely and I found I was lonely only because I knew all the amazingness humanity and YOU have to offer. So I wasn't lonely, I was in love, hopeful, and desiring.

"

The Sphere I Live On

It’s been so long since I wrote

And I feel choked up like a goat

Cause they

can’t say anything other than “Baah”

       -- Which is/isn’t bad

But the point is I’m writing

And the point changes each line

By the way that I feel

Which makes it all very real

Which means I can’t erase the thing that I paste

So believe me when I say

--I love you

And you know I’m a stranger so

In your googly glasses

        Like Clark Kent

You

ask, “how could you love me - ”

But I do

Because

You

Are someone real

Who feels, like I feel

And I know that

You

are real

And feel, like I feel

And --  we could be friends      in a chance

So when I write --

I write you --

And out of the blue

To tell you a truth -- I’m always chasing

Because it’s a sphere I live on --

Where I’m trying to hold you

-- grasp your hand

   -- Kiss your boo-boos

       -- Rock you

To hold you in the truth and safety (Love)

Author's Note

Kally
The irony is I never clarify this love and amazement is the sphere I live on. A sphere where everyone is unique and amazing, and they need love. A sphere where everything's amazing and lively and innocent.
