Janky Poems: Wakes in Grievance

A Poem by Kally
"

Your loneliness is real; love AND absence, existence and void. It hurts with reality, like a split. It ruptures like becoming. Sometimes distancing from it is safer, letting harshness be unspoken.

"

Wakes in Grievance

Where lay’d the sweetest of dreams

Awoke I, my eternal screams

And flood once more, gate of emotion

Please dare not ask: why; of commotion

For deepest grievance do not pry

Cause in gentlest hearts thy may cry

An I have lost the loveliest of divine

You’ll see when looking upon such crime

So in waking, at Heart’s breaking

And dreams like memor’ so die, at last, once more, dearest goodbye
