Last Memory

Sometime we push on even if it cost us our life. We do theses things because we love that person.

Time has come to a halt for me.

It seemed like a lifetime had passed.

I wasn't sure until that night.

I remember it so vividly, I held you in my arms.

It was so cold that night, but the warmth of you made me forget that.

I didn't mind that it was ten below.

I didn't mind that you had my jacket.

I didn't care that the snow had frozen all but my legs.

All i knew was as long as you are safe I'm okay.

That night I felt like a zombie pushing on with only one thing on my mind.

Getting you some where safe.

I did but i paid the ultimate price.

As they took you from me, I saw you wake.

I saw that one tear in your eye.

You know this was goodbye.

Time has come to a halt for me.

This is my last memory.
