Constantly in your eyes
You see beauty
You see everything, you think
But it's actually right through me

Why is it in your heart
That I feel worthless as can be
I beg and plead
Please make time for me!

But you're never there...

I close my eyes and reach out for you
To help me in my times of need
But when I open my eyes
There's no one there I see.

But I continue to reach
And yes I get mad
How long can someone really
Pretend they're not sad?

Ok forget your busy days
Let's just talk at night
I'm on the end of the line
But something's not right

I'm reaching. I need you.
I wait for you to show.
But deep in my heart.
Yeah I already know.

You'll come for a moment
And my heart will beat
I'm happy...I'm smiling.
You fell asleep.

Yeah you love me, I get it.
But you just don't have time.
So why am I here?
Just losing my mind.

Don't I deserve better?
Someone who calls me to say
They just want to talk
And they actually stay.

Day after day
After day after day
We'll keep passing our time
Till we both walk away.
