I think to myself,
I will never forget,
each time that we spoke,
each time our eyes met.

I will never forget
your smile and your touch.
The bond that we shared
and how you loved me so much.

I love you and need you
but now, God needs you more.
To show him your strength
and fly through his door.

You are a part of the oceans,
the skies, and the trees.
You are a part of the world
that has now set you free.

If the days slowly pass by,
and we feel so apart.
I will look up to you
and put my hand on my heart.

In memory of your voice...
in memory of your song...
in memory of your life...
lived so pure and so strong.

As the rain slowly falls
and the clouds soar by...
I can feel your presence
and your soul drift by.

You reach out your hands
and my strength lets me know.
As our hands meet...
I will never let go...
